PolyJet Technology Basics
PolyJet is a High Precision 3D printing technology, widely applied for its excellent surface finish and customizable material properties.its How It Works is similar to inkjet printing, building 3D solid parts layer by layer by jetting photopolymer resin and instantly curing it with UV light. This technology is currently one of the high-precision, fast, and material-rich solutions in industrial-grade 3D printing.
PolyJet How It Works
PolyJet How It Works
During printing, the equipment jets liquid photopolymer resin in extremely thin layers onto the build platform, with each layer immediately cured by UV light exposure to form solid structures. This process repeats layer by layer until the complete part is formed. For overhanging or complex structures, the system simultaneously prints support material to ensure forming stability. After printing, support material is manually removed, and the part is ready for subsequent use or display.
PolyJet Technology Advantages Summary
PolyJet technology, with its outstanding surface quality and material diversity, can produce parts with rich details and realistic feel. Compared to traditional manufacturing methods, it not only supports free combination of multiple material properties but also simulates the performance of different functional materials. Combined with High Precision forming and overmolding-like capabilities, PolyJet is the ideal choice for Rapid Prototyping and functional validation.
